The "Water Lilies" is the expression and culmination of the artistic thought of Claude Monet. A wild project for a painter who wanted to explore all the variations of light in his garden in Giverny, the "Water Lilies" is displayed in two oval rooms and invite the visitor for endless contemplation. In choosing the Orangerie of the Tuileries to house his work devoted to nature and peace, Claude Monet hoped to create harmony between the "Water Lilies" and its enclosure. The "Water Lilies" has been exhibited there since 1927.

This necklace represents the artisticlegacy of Monet with a beautifully detailed green enamel lily pad pendant set with a white faux pearl in the center.
